Pastor’s Rod and Traci Brewer have been associate pastors at Family Cathedral of Praise since January 2002. God so graciously delivered Rod from a 14 year methamphetamine addiction back in 1997 and now he specializes in helping those who are in need of the same deliverance from drugs and other life controlling vices. Pastor Rod & Traci oversee the ministry of Gideon’s House which consists of two transitional homes that assist men; coming off the streets and out of prison; through Christ centered discipleship. Pastor’s Rod & Traci also teach “The Word” Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, and The School of Supernatural Ministry on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Traci & Rod traveled to Siaya, Kenya and planted the first Family Cathedral of Praise Church in Africa back in 2004. God has called Pastor’s Rod and Traci to a prophetic ministry and they are currently focusing on developing their gifts and callings in this area of ministry.
Rod is a graduate of Teen Challenge – 1998, a graduate of Christ for the Nations Bible College – 2000, & a graduate of Christ for the Nations School of Pastoral Ministry – 2001. Traci is a full time nurse and enjoys taking care of her patients as a ministry unto the Lord. Rod and Traci live in Mesquite, Texas and they are the proud parent’s of 3 wonderful children Raquel, Raunie & Brandon.
